Gutter Guards Problems
Clogged gutters are a serious problem for many on a yearly basis. As a result, gutters need to be cleaned out regularly to prevent these issues. Problems arise with this, however, as you need to get up high in order to reach the gutter. Quite often, people look into purchasing gutter guards. With so many out there, it is a tough choice. However, whichever one you buy, there are gutter guards problems. It is vital to consider all options before making an investment.
Gutters guards are specifically designed to prevent general dirt building up in the gutters of a roof. However, there are inherent gutter guards problems whichever type you opt for. The general idea is to stop dirt getting in, and at the same time allowing rainwater to flow without blockage. There are a few options to select from ranging in price and ease of use.
Gutter guards known as bottle-brush are inexpensive and uncomplicated, but, unfortunately, the brushes have to be cleaned up sometimes. Reverse-Curve Gutter Guards allow water to flow through as it slides off the top of the house. However, these guards are expensive and if they do get blocked they can be a pain to clean out. Foam gutter guards absorb the water. Again, the problems with these are that they are not as cheap as the brush types. Finally, Gutter screens are gutter guards using a mesh cover to prevent leaves entering the gutter. The major problem with these though is that they become blocked as leaves form a layer on top of the screen.
